About the Latinos Involved in Further Education

The purpose of the Latinos Involved in Further Education (L.I.F.E.) is to promote the unity and consciousness of the Hispanic population at Wright State University. The objectives are to promote academic success, social growth, and cultural awareness of the diversity of the Hispanic culture. Throughout the school year, L.I.F.E. organizes campus gatherings centered on Latino culture or issues pertinent to the Latino population.

Membership Information

L.I.F.E. is an organization for ALL students, faculty and staff at Wright State University. Although membership in L.I.F.E. is open to all students, you are automatically a member if you are an enrolled student of Hispanic heritage. To be able to vote for an officer's position, you must attend at least one meeting.

AHNA Center

The Latinos Involved in Further Education, the Association of Native American Students, and the Asian Student Association are affiliated with the Asian/Hispanic/Native American Center (AHNA) in 154 Millett.
