And We Are Back!

Well well, long time, no update. It's been awhile since the WSU GK site was last updated (and it hasn't been for lack of events!). We have had a busy Winter quarter with all kinds of awesome community service events, including collaborations with Operation Smile and Relay for Life. Speaking of Relay for Life, we are currently doing a fundraiser to raise cash for Relay for Life to help fight cancer. All you have to do is print out this flyer and bring it into City Barbeque of Beavercreek this Thursday, April 19th. So enjoy good food for a good cause! Also, in the next few weeks, we will begin the process of transitioning to our new home (I'll post a link once we get further into the process-I promise). On one last note, as the year is winding down, think about positions that you may be interested in as we will have several openings. If you have any questions, contact either of our current presidents (Larrilyn Yelton and Tiffany Fridley) or the future face of GK (Caitlyn Banis).

Website Changes

Exciting news from the desk of the webmaster (as exciting as the internet usually is anyway)! First off, we recently updated our photo galleries with two new events, Halloween Hoopla and Metro Nights! Additionally, the photo gallery main page has been updated as well (for usability). You may also notice that the News column looks a little different. That's because we are all about improvement and betterment (and they said you couldn't teach an old dog new tricks!). So what do you think? Awesome? Attractive? Fantastic? Let us know!

Revamped Photo Pages!

Although the photos page has been functional for awhile now, I realized two major issues.

1. The pages took forever to load, which leads me to...
2. The photo viewer wasn't usable because it lacked sufficient navigation.

The fix for this has been long in the works. We had tried several different approaches with limited success. However, coming at the situation a completely different way allowed us to create a photo archive that everyone can enjoy. So take a few minutes and check out some of our handiwork!
