The mission of the Golden Key International Honour Society, a nonprofit academic honors organization, is to build global communities of academic achievers by providing opportunities for growth through leadership, career development, networking, and service and to define our Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Inclusivity, Collaboration, and Innovation.
Golden Key is an internationally recognized academic honour society that extends its membership, by invitation only, to those students who are in the top 15 percent of their junior or senior class. We will be hosting the Sophomore Recognition Information Session to introduce potential students to the organization. Please feel free to stop for a quick visit within this time frame and meet some of the officers and members of Golden Key. They will be able to answer your questions concerning Golden Key and inform you of the benefits available to its members.
Students who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 and have earned at least 90 credit hours should receive a letter of invitation from our international headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia early fall quarter. If you meet the qualifications and do not receive this letter of invitation, please contact our advisor, Pam Davis by e-mail at pam.davis@wright.edu.
This year's induction went superbly! Photos (Courtesy of Christal and Bob Morita) from the event can be seen through the photos page!
Golden Key inducts new members each year during a special ceremony on every chapter’s campus, where friends and family are welcome to share in honoring new members. Distinguished professors, university administrators, and community leaders join in the celebration of achievement.
Each new member comes forward to receive a certificate of membership and a personalized press release announcing selection to the Society, which may be sent to a hometown newspaper. A reception follows where new members have a chance to mingle and meet chapter leaders and newly inducted honorary members.
