WELCOME TO THE
ALPHA BETA LAMBDA
CHAPTER OF
ALPHA PHI OMEGA!
![]()
is located at Wright
State University in Dayton, Ohio and was founded just over ten years ago on October
12, 1985. We are just one of over 350 active chapters of Alpha Phi Omega National
Coed Service Fraternity, the largest fraternal organization in the world. Service work is
our hallmark, and we are based on the principles of the Scouting movement. Our program of
service focuses on the areas of service to the Nation, the Community, the University, and
the Fraternity.
Here at
, we do several projects for the Dayton
and Fariborn communities and the Wright State campus each quarter. Some of our projects
have been Adopt-A-Highway on State Route 444 near campus, an art auction for charity with
the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Wives' Club, Dayton Power & Light's Volunteer
Insulation Program, Wrapping gifts for March of Dimes, AIDS Memorial Quilt exposition on
campus, MS Walk-A-thon and much, much more!. Needless to say, we are not "all work
and no play" as we have several fellowships each quarter, attend our
National, Regional and Sectional Conventions; and enjoy activities with
other
chapters in western Ohio. Developing the
principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service is the goal in everything we do, whether
at work or play. Look below for more information about our chapter, other
chapters and the National Fraternity.
We are always looking for new projects and for students who are
interested in serving the community and campus while having lots of fun! If you are
interested, please drop us a line at our
Email address, come by our desk in the Student Union
room W043.
