4/05/06 - Next friday we will be having a Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid marathon. It has been added to the schedule. I also found time to finish all the series pages, meaning Genshiken and Samurai Champloo are finally up.

3/25/06 - Wow, nearly three months without updates. It's been a heck of a quarter, but now I can finally relax and get some work done. Major updates have ensued over Spring Break, as you can probably tell. The pages for the new series, minus Genshiken until I borrow it from someone, are up. Our schedule is updated and utilizes a new color-coded format. Our room for next quarter is 210 Allyn, which is on the 'About Us' page.

On another note, this looks to be my last quarter at WSU, so I'll be passing the torch on to some lucky student. If anyone feels they are qualified and honestly wants to do the job and do it right, drop me a line at plants.3@wright.edu and I'll get back to you.

1/04/06 - Sorry I couldn't be there for the first meeting guys! Howl's Moving Castle was scheduled for this Friday, but it's being moved back to the 13th (next friday) because I won't be back until this coming Monday. We may experience slight changes in our programming schedule depending on how much we get to watch tonight, so stay tuned.

12/02/05 - Major updates! Kare Kano is the officer's choice for winter '05 and has been added to the "Now Playing" page. We have a new schedule page, accessed from the main page, that details exactly what we'll be watching every meeting and when all our cool events are. Finally, the "Past Series" page is now complete except for Samurai Champloo. Lots of free time over winter break means lots of time for me to get things done.

*REMINDER*
Our first day back is Jan 03, our first meeting is Jan 04, and our first friday meeting is Jan 06!

11/20/05 - The pages for Samurai 7 and Blood Plus are up, as well as our new info for winter quarter. I have contacted our advisor and we should be up on university webspace soon, so look out for a url change. The officer's choice will be up once we've had a chance to discuss it.

11/01/05 - Halloween was a blast and I want to thank everyone who came, especially those who dressed in costume. Since we have finished Lain, and the end of the quarter is drawing near, we'll be watching only Escaflowne and Ranma 1/2 during our next two meetings. We will finish Escaflowne before the end of the quarter, but Ranma will have to be finished up on finals week. As always, not everone can come during finals week, so we will be showing random fun OAVs and/or single episodes for those of you who can make it.

9/27/05 - More updates! Ranma 1/2 and Azumanga Daioh are up, and more past series should be added soon. It's kinda rough updating the site when I'm taking 20 credit hours, but what can I say, I enjoy it. We may be doing something in the way of a movie this Friday, but I won't know until tomorrow. And since this isn't in the announcements section yet, and should be, here it is: we've moved to 494 Allyn Hall for the quarter, and have added Ranma 1/2 to our lineup. We will (probably) drop back down to two series once Lain runs out, but until then it's 2 eps per night (3 for Escaflowne).

9/15/05 - Finally had some free time tonight and so I got a few things around the site caught up. The "Past Series" page is finally up, though it's still not completed. I also updated the "Now Playing" and "About Us" pages. I have to say, our first meeting went over better than I expected (exept for the slightly early ending). A few refreshers for those who left early: we start now at 7:10pm and will have to shorten the break slightly (5 minutes please!) to fit time constraints. Also, to keep everything balanced, we've added in Ranma 1/2, so next week will be as follows: Escaflowne(3), break, Lain(2), Ranma 1/2(2).

9/7/05 - Friday has been finalized! We will be doing a showing of Appleseed the movie this Friday, September 9th, in E041 Voyager in the Student Union (click here for the room). The room is right next to the arcade; just go to where the rec desk used to be and turn right and you'll find it. The event starts at 7:30 pm, and will last until about 9:00pm. Appleseed was created by Masamune Shirow, the same man responsible for the 'Ghost in the Shell' series. So bring a friend and some popcorn and join the fun.

9/2/05 - Just got back from the 'Do the U' event and I have to say it was a huge sucess. I actually ran out of flyers and had to go print more. Any new members reading this, here is (again) the link to our yahoo group: groups.yahoo.com/groups/wsu_anime, and my e-mail: plants.3@wright.edu . This year looks to be very fun. Now, if they'll just get back to me on our room for friday, I am planning a "club" showing of Appleseed to make up for the public showing that got canceled. Expect another update as soon as I get confirmation.

8/31/05 - Welcome to the first update of our webpage! A few announcements to start things off: First, due to costs, the upcoming showing of Appleseed is canceled. We may still do a "club" showing of something on friday, but I won't know for sure until tuesday. Our first official meeting will be 9/14/05 at 7:00pm in 140 health sciences, so mark your calendars. We will be watching Escaflowne and one other show from the poll on our yahoo group. Also, once I get our advisor to check it out, this website will be moving to a new, university sponsored URL, which will be linked from our name on the student organizations page. I'm currently working on the "past series" page to the website, but everything else should be up and running (finally). Stay tuned for more within the next week :-)
