Wright State Anime Club is dedicated to bringing the joys of Japanese animation to the masses. We hope to foster a greater appreciation of animation as an art form, and of Japanese culture as well. That's why we have no yearly dues, and welcome new members with open arms. We generally watch 2-3 anime series at any given time; our three hour time block is divided so that each show gets approximately 75 minutes, or three episodes of showtime, with a 5-minute break in-between shows. An active discussion of the shows can usually be found afterwards, or during the break, but you don't have to know anything at all about anime to join. Simply show up at the beginning of one of our meetings, and an officer will take down your name and e-mail (so we can keep in touch). That's all it takes! Whether you've just seen a few shows on Adult Swim and want to find out more, or you're a certified otaku, you'll be among friends with us.
