*HOMECOMING KING AND QUEEN*
Nominate someone for 2008 Homecoming King and Queen.  Application/rules are available in the Office of Student Activities and very soon online
on the Office of Student Activities webpage.  Applications are due no later than 5:00pm on Monday, September 22nd.  For further information, contact the Office of Student Activities, 775-5570.


LIVE ON CAMPUS? BORED ON THE WEEKENDS?

The Residential Community Association is proud to encourage you to run for your community council! Community Councils plan programming, parties, dances, free food, and events for their residents. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to meet other student leaders. The deadline for applications is Sunday, September 21st, 2008. So hurry up! Fill out an application and write a letter of intent! You can turn it in to your RA or your Community Director. Voting will be done on WINGS, so get everyone you know to vote for you!

*HOMECOMING PARADE*
Contact Daniel Thomas, thomas.266@wright.edu and learn how your organization can be part of this year's Homecoming Parade. You can have a float, drive a car, walk as a group, do a dance, throw candy to the crowd, play a musical instrument, dress up in costumes, just have fun and let folks know about your student organization. Applications are due no later than 5:00pm on Friday, September 26th.

Challenge yourself by fasting with us for a day, from sunrise to sunset. Fasting is not only abstaining from food and drink but also from smoking, alcohol, and committing sins. We will be breaking our fast at sunset with delicious, authentic, and free Middle Eastern Cuisine!
