2010 ORIENTATION/FIRST WEEKEND TEAM LEADER
The selection to be a member of WSU’s Orientation/First Weekend Team is an honor as-well-as a rewarding opportunity for professional and personal growth. Each year, the Office of Enrollment Management selects a group of mature and dedicated undergraduate student leaders to assist with implementing Orientation/First Weekend programs. Orientation/First Weekend Leaders serve as peer educators, group facilitators, performers, resource contacts, and role models to incoming and transfer students; also assisting their families making a smooth transition to WSU both academically and socially.
"ORIENTATION LEADERS" will mentor groups of first year students through the 2010 Orientation program scheduled the summer prior to classes, May – September 2010.
“FIRST WEEKEND LEADERS" will mentor groups of first year students through the 2010 First Weekend Institutes program scheduled the weekend prior to Fall Quarter 2010 classes.
Applications (Phase One): Applications are now available and can be picked up in the Office of Enrollment Management located in 210 Medical Sciences Building. Applicants must return a completed application along with two Orientation/First Weekend Leader Recommendation Forms (included in the application packet) to 210 Medical Sciences Building no later than 5:00pm Monday, November 2, 2009.

SIGEP ANNUAL DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

Mark your calendars for SigEps first annual 5 on 5 Dodgeball Tournament. All proceeds go to out national philanthropies: Youth Aids and Women’s Self Defense. Registration for teams is only $25.00 or $5.00 a player. Only the first 16 teams that register will be entered into the tournament. A prize will be presented to the first place team. Teams can register at the Fitness Center front desk. Registration ends October 26th, so register quickly! Come out and participate in this fun and exciting event for a good cause!
