Following is information regarding registering your organization for the 2010
school year. This information can also be found on the WSU Student Organization

COMPLETE THESE REQUIREMENTS TO
REGISTER YOUR STUDENT ORGANIZATION
FOR 2010 SCHOOL YEAR
SIGN UP FOR SESSION: Presidents and Treasurers must come in to the Office of Student Activities
019 Student Union or call the Office of Student Activities, 775-5570 to
sign up for the session they wish to attend since seating is limited at each.
ATTEND ONE SESSION: President is required to attend one president training session
Treasurer is required to attend one treasurer training session
REGISTER YOUR ORGANIZATION: FRIDAY, JUNE 18 at 5 p.m. is the FIRM registration deadline
All organizations must have completed president and treasurers training and correctly and totally completed the Student Organization Registration Form on OrgSync by Friday, June 18 at 5 p.m.
IF YOUR ORGANIZATION DOES NOT COMPLETE ALL OF THE ABOVE
STEPS BY JUNE 18 AT 5 P.M., YOUR GROUP CANNOT PARTICIPATE
IN DO THE U OR FALL FEST.

Glen Helen, for those of you who have not yet experienced it, is our local treasure, Antioch
College’s beautiful nature preserve in Yellow Springs. It has nearly 1000 acres of forests, meadows, a prairie, cascades, deep valleys, streams, ledges, birds, wildlife, trails, a bird of prey rehabilitation center, Trailside Museum, Nature Shop in the Glen Helen Building, and
yes -- a yellow spring.
Hundreds of visitors come to the Glen each week, even in winter time and many more are expected with the coming of spring. You are hereby invited to contribute some of your time to the Glen in its beautiful surroundings.
Looking for both adult volunteers and adult/child volunteer teams:
-To serve as docents at Glen Helen’s Trailside Museum
-Greet visitors & answer general questions
-Guide visitors through exhibits
-Care for resident reptiles

Volunteer Youth Mentor
Support At-Risk Youth ages 15-17 achieve specific individual goals in the areas of social skills and school achievement. Help instill positive values, self-esteem and motivation, encourage commitment to learning, go on fun field trips.
Looking for a 12 month, overall commitment, with a minimum of 4 hours a month, the scheduling will vary greatly and depend on activities and needs.
Goodwill Easter Seals and community locations will provide worksite.
Qualifications:
No felony or probation within the past 5 years
Must possess a valid driver’s license will less than 6 points and proof of insurance
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
All training will be provided.

PROJECT LINUS’ BLANKET MAKING MARATHON

Wright State’s Project Linus would like to invite you to help make fleece blankets for children in need! All blankets will be donated to Project Linus’ Dayton Chapter, which gives handmade blankets to children in hospitals, abuse shelters, social service agencies, etc. Everyone is welcome and sewing skills are not necessary!

Kappa Delta Sorority is hosting their 3rd annual Shamrock Cornhole Tournament! $20.00 per team of two and all proceeds will go to Prevent Child Abuse of America and the Dayton YMCA.
