QUEST SEEKS STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Although the annual Quest conference is a university wide event and free to WSU participants, for many reasons, very few WSU students participate in the Quest conference. In an effort to provide other activities and venues in support of the conference, this year's Quest conference will include Quest activities across the WSU campus! Wright State colleges, departments and units have been asked to plan diversity activities throughout the week of the Quest conference.

We are seeking a student organization to coordinate an activity, "The Amazing Quest," for Friday, April 13, 2007 (day of the conference). This would require students to register for the conference as an Amazing Quest participant (only if they wish the free lunch and to be eligible for prizes). The student would follow the "roadmaps" and directions to visit the different designated Quest locations around campus.

The coordinating student organization(s) will help determine the "awards" or "rewards" for successfully completing the Amazing Quest. We hope this will be an exciting and fun way to get more campus-wide participation in recognizing the diversity of our campus. Additionally, it will provide a venue for departments, units, colleges, to spotlight the great work they all are doing in supporting and promoting diversity.
