Volunteers needed for local fish fry fundraiser to benefit Suicide Prevention Center, Inc.
Volunteers for games and clean up and tear down are needed for fundraiser fish fry.
• Date: January 30
• Time: 7 - 11 p.m.
• Games include: Chuck A Luck, Show Down (DEALER NEEDED from 9-11)Beat the Dealer, Raffles (3 people per shift). Anyone can volunteer, although for Show Down, someone with poker experience who can work the players would be great. No pay -- but all the great food you can eat!!! Your mileage is tax deductible.
• Cost (to attend): $10 for all the fish, chips – and much more -- that you can eat!
• Where: 6050 Dog Leg Road (near corner of Dog Leg and Main Street)

Volunteer Youth Mentor
Support At-Risk Youth ages 15-17 achieve specific individual goals in the areas of social skills and school achievement. Help instill positive values, self esteem and motivation, encourage commitment to learning, go on fun field trips.
Looking for a 12 month overall commitment, with a minimum of 4 hours a month, the scheduling will vary greatly and depend on activities and needs.
Goodwill Easter Seals and community locations will provide worksite.
Qualifications:
No felony or probation within the past 5 years
Must possess a valid drivers license will less than 6 points and proof of insurance
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
All training will be provided.

The Student Org Fair will take place in the Atrium during lunchtime, and is designed to show the student body that our organizations are still active throughout the winter, even though it may be cold outside. It is our hope that though social interactions and involvement with one another, cabin fever can be eliminated at WSU.

Men and women of all ages are encouraged to participate in V-Day, a weekend of knowledge and power through love and understanding. The V-Day Conference is proudly presented by the WSU Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance and the WSU Women’s Center.
