"BROKEN LEVEES"
Tuesday, February 26
2:15 pm 4:00 pm
In celebration of Black History Month & Women's History Month, the WSU Bolinga Black Cultural Resources Center, Women's Center, & Women's Studies Program are pleased to support "Broken Levees," a new play written by Sandra Crews, Associate Professor of Theatre. "Broken Levees" brings to life the human drama of Hurricane Katrina and the role of race and poverty in the response to unfolding events. A major theme of the play is the complex and often painful brokenness in women's relationships in a racially diverse community in a time of crisis. A talk back will follow the play.
Free and everyone welcome!
