STUDENT GOVERNMENT PRESENTS: SPEAK OUT!
Monday, May 14
11:00 am 2:00 pm
The Quad
The WSU Student Government will be hosting our annual Speak Out even on the Quad. The purpose of the event is to allow students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to pose questions, comments, and concerns to our panel of student representatives from Student Government, Residential Community Association, and Commuter Student Association.
This year Student Government has addressed a wide variety of topics including parking, diversity, sustainability, recycling, school spirit, dining services, cost of tuition, voter registration, course descriptions, student life, and advising. While these topics were the main focus of Student Government, students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to ask questions about any issues they believe are important. We hope to engage in an active two-way communication that can benefit the entire university.
To help stimulate questions and comments, Student Government will be grilling out on the quad while selling hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks, and soft drinks. Prices will be cheap, and all proceeds go to raise money for the Student Government Scholarship.
We invite the entire WSU community to participate in this fantastic event.
