STOP          READ             REGISTER

LAST OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A REGISTERED STUDENT ORGANIZATION FOR THE 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR

If you would like your student organization to be registered for the 2008-2009 school year, your president and treasurer must attend a training seminar either on January 12 or January 13.  Total session time is about 1 hour.

January 12

President’s Training     9:15 a.m. in 005 Library Annex

Treasurer’s Training      9:15 a.m. in E163 Student Union

January 13

Bring the following information to the training so you can register your group

1.  President and Treasurer email address, UID number, contact phone number, address

2.  Adviser’s email, on-campus address and on-campus phone number

3.  Also make certain you have an electronic copy of your constitution that contains the

following non-discrimination clause:  Any student of Wright State University or member of the faculty or staff shall be eligible for membership regardless of race, sex (including gender identity/expression), color, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, military status, or sexual orientation.

Wright State Reads the World

Wright State Reads the World is a new reading group for international literature. The first discussion is 1:30 pm Monday, Jan. 12, and will cover "Waiting" by Ha Jin. It will be repeated at 10:30 am Tuesday, Jan. 13. Attend one (or both!) discussions. Both are held in Room 342 Dunbar.

The group recommends but doesn't require that you have read the book to attend.

This group is open to students, staff, faculty and friends of Wright State. Please share with those you know who might be interested.

Library Workshops: RefWorks

Jan. 13, Noon-1:00 pm, Room 241 Dunbar

Learn to use RefWorks to easily organize references, create bibliographies/footnotes, and create a personal database of resources. Open to all WSU students, faculty, and staff.
