2009-2010 Student Leader Job Opportunity

The University Activities Board is now accepting applications for Executive Board positions. President and Vice President applications are due by January 30th, 2009 to the Office of Student Activities (019 Student Union) by 5pm. Applications for all other Executive Board positions are due on February 6th, 2009 to the Office of Student Activities (019 Student Union) by 5pm.

Golden Key International Honour Society’s annual Ronald McDonald House Penny Drive

Golden Key International Honour Society is sponsoring our annual Ronald McDonald House Penny Drive from January 30- May 29. All the participating offices around campus are going to be competing to raise the most money to win a pizza party with Ronald McDonald himself. Also, any office that would like to decorate their own penny drive container is able to win a dessert party. The winners will be announced on Monday, June 6th. SOBC FUNDING INFORMATION

There will be two (2) informative meetings held for student organizations wanting funding from SOBC for the 2009-2010 academic year. These meetings will be:

Wednesday February 18, 2009 from 4:00pm-5:00pm in 135 Allyn Hall

Thursday February 19, 2009 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm in 135 Allyn Hall

A representative from each group requesting funding must be present at one (1) of these meetings. Only student organizations present at either meeting will be considered for SOBC funding.
