He has worked at Kent State University, Hiram College, Ohio University and The University of Akron and has held positions in student activities, student unions, and student affairs administration since 1986. He received a Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Management from The University of Akron, a Master's of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Ohio University. Rick is responsible for the overall leadership of the department with a focus on the Leadership Development and Student Organizations program areas. He also serves as adjunct faculty for Organizational Leadership in the College of Education. "I enjoy working with WSU students and helping them grow with their leadership responsibilities and personal development. I look forward to my work every day! I find it energizing to work with students, faculty and staff in this collaborative and creative environment."

	Tonya Mathis Associate Director Office of Student Activities Wright State University Dayton, OH 45435 Office: W019 Student Union Phone : (937) 775-5838 Email : tonya.mathis@wright.edu	Tonya joined the Wright State University family in 1992 when she began her college career as a student. Two years in to her college career, she became a WSU employee. She juggled the roles of full-time mother, student, and staff member. During her tenure at Wright State University, she has held positions in career services, academic affairs, and student affairs. In 1998, Tonya received a Bachelor's of Science in Rehabilitation Services and a Master's of Education in Student Affairs and Higher Education. Tonya is responsible for campus programming for the department and student organizations. She is the department liaison for the First Year Advisory Committee and First Weekend, and has held numerous leadership positions on campus-wide committees. "My experience at Wright State University is fulfilling"."I enjoy meeting students from various cultures and ethnicities. I learn a great deal from the students I interact with."

	Valita Wilhoite Assistant Director Office of Student Activities Wright State University Dayton, OH 45435 Office: W019 Student Union Phone: (937) 775-5743 Email: valita.wilhoite@wright.edu	Valita has been with Wright State University for ten years, working in the Office of Affirmative Action Programs and the School of Professional Psychology before assuming the position of Assistant Director of Student Activities in October 2007. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and a Masters of Education in Student Affairs and Higher Education. Valita is responsible for coordinating activities and programs for the cultural organizations and working with their Advisors in a supportive capacity. She is also the Media Coordinator for NEXUS, WWSU Radio Station and the Guardian Newspaper. Over the years, Valita has been actively engaged in the campus community as past Chair of the Judicial Review Panel, member of the Academic Integrity Panel and volunteer for many cultural events such as the Chinese New Year’s Celebration and Multicultural Halloween Party. “I hope to bring additional spirit to an already spirited team.”

	Gina Keucher Interim Assistant Director Office of Student Activities Wright State University Dayton, OH 45435 Office: W019 Student Union Phone: (937) 775-5560 Email: keucher.3@wright.edu	Gina Keucher joined the Student Affairs staff in 2007, working as a graduate assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life. A graduate of WSU, and an active alumnae member of Sigma Kappa Sorority (Epsilon Eta, Findlay College), Gina served six years as advisory board chair to the Sigma Kappa chapter at the University of Dayton; served two years as a National Collegiate Province Officer; and served as the Dayton Alumnae Chapter President for two years. After working closely with college students as an advisor, Gina has decided to return to WSU and pursue a Master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education and looks forward to starting classes in Fall 2007.

	Viki Harness Administrative Specialist Office of Student Activities Wright State University Dayton, OH 45435 Office: W019 Student Union Phone : (937) 775-5566 Email : viki.harness@wright.edu	Viki began working at Wright State University in May 1999. Before coming to the university, she had worked for various corporations. She received a Bachelor's of Art in Home Economics from Ohio Dominican College. In the Office of Student Activities, Viki manages student services such as composing and sending out the Wright Weekly E-News, registration of student organizations, managing office operation, departmental marketing, assisting with programs for the entire WSU campus and answering students' questions on various policies and procedures. She serves as a representative on the Student Affairs Staff Development Committee, Homecoming Committee and Welcome Week Committee "The Office of Student Activities is such a high energy, fun place to work. We are able to interact with a diverse student population on a daily basis and we never know what the day will bring. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know the awesome students that attend Wright State."

	Lenny Gonzalez Accounting Clerk Office of Student Activities Wright State University Dayton, OH 45435 Office: W019 Student Union Phone : (937) 775-5574 Email : leonard.gonzalez@wright.edu	Lenny joined the staff in Spring 1999. He has held positions in the Physical Plant and Payroll Departments before joining the Office of Student Activities. He received a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Wright State University and an Associate of Arts in Pre-Professional Business from Lorain County Community College. Lenny is responsible for maintaining the accounts for the department as well as the student organizations including The Guardian, NEXUS, WWSU Radio Station, Rainbow Alliance, University Activities Board, Greek Life, and all the student clubs on campus. "Having been a student and employee since 1991 on the Wright State campus has been a rewarding experience. I feel extremely fortunate to work in an environment surrounded by remarkable staff members and phenomenal students. Without question, when I began working in The Office of Student Activities- I hit the Lottery!"

	Janeice Brown Accounting Clerk Office of Student Activities Wright State University Dayton, OH 45435 Office: W019 Student Union Phone: (937) 775-5541 Email: janeice.brown@wright.edu	Janiece joined the Student Activities family as a student employee in 2004 and as a staff member in June 2006 upon the completion of her degree in Accountancy from WSU. Janiece also recently received her Master’s in Business Administration from the Wright State Raj Soin College of Business. Janiece works closely with the treasurers of student organizations, especially The Guardian and University Activities Board. “Being employed in the Office of Student Activities has afforded me the opportunity to surround myself with truly wonderful students and staff! Just knowing that I’m working with tomorrow’s leaders makes me smile."

	Chris Culkin Graduate Assistant Fraternity and Sorority Life Office of Student Activities Wright State University Dayton, OH 45435 Office: W019 Student Union Phone: (937) 775-2316 Email:culkin.2@wright.edu	Chris is the Graduate Assistant for Fraternity & Sorority Life while pursuing his Masters in Student Affairs in Higher Education. As an undergraduate at the University of San Francisco, Chris was involved in a multitude of varying activities including: Chi Upsilon Zeta, Alpha Phi Omega, the Latin American Student Organization, Student Government and the Campus Activities Board. After completing his degree in Political Science, Chris worked at the Academy of Art University where he worked to oversee the development of one of the few Greek systems at any art institution in the Nation.

	Sarah Lynch Graduate Intern Office of Student Activities Wright State University Dayton , OH 45435 Office: W019 Student Union Phone: (937)-775-5570 Email:	Sarah is the graduate intern for GLBTQA initiatives, helping with Leadership Development, and various projects. Sarah started working in the Office of Student Activities in 2007 as an undergraduate office assistant. She graduated in 2009 from Wright State with a B.A in Women's Studies. She is now pursuing her Masters in Student Affairs in Higher Education. She is excited to be working in the Office of Student Activities because "we are the headquarters to fun!"
