Vision and Goals 2007

1)      Leadership Development: Launch the Wilbur and Orville Wright Leadership Academy focusing the annual program on advanced leaders for the inaugural year.

2)      Student Organizations: Enhance the visibility of student organizations with additional services and training, such as, the resource room and new organization space, ICS club manager software, and alternative methods for training.

3)      Campus Programs: Shift staff-initiated programs, such as Homecoming, to student initiated programs and enhance collaborative efforts between student organizations.

4)      Fraternity & Sorority Life: Enhance training on effective recruitment, alcohol education, anti-hazing efforts, and officer transition.

5)      Multicultural Organizations and Programs:  Provide greater support for program planning and coordination for multicultural organizations with the establishment of the new Asst. Director position.

6)      Media Organizations: Provide support and a successful transition of the media organizations from the VP for Student Affairs Office to the Office of Student Activities.

7)      Marketing: Implement new marketing initiatives to create awareness of the office and the website.

8)      Student Organization Finances: Develop new tools and training opportunities for student organization Treasurers to enhance accountability of organizational finances.
