Notice to all Students
Wright State University is not a party to any lease transaction between students and property managers in any way. Students are encouraged to verify property information in person and to consult with a representative of Student Legal Services prior to entering into a lease agreement.
The Office of Student Support Services offers local property managers the opportunity to post a unit or units to be listed on our website. To list a property on our website, property managers must utilize our online registration and payment process. Your information will be posted on the Rental Listings database and on the Off-Campus Housing bulletin board in the WSU Student Union. To submit your rental unit information, you need to fill out and submit an online rental listing form. We do not post homeshares (renting a bedroom in your primary residence).
Wright State University maintains an off-campus property list. This list is maintained by the Office of Student Support Services for the convenience of Wright State students. The University has not inspected, reviewed or approved any of the off-campus properties and the University is not the owner or operator of any of the listed off-campus properties.
The off-campus property list is only a record of possible openings in the area and is being provided solely for student convenience. This list does not reflect which properties are currently rented or available or the pricing or condition of any properties.
In making this list available, Wright State University assumes no responsibility for any claims or liability arising out of or resulting from the use or renting of any of the listed space, property or residence listed, nor for the condition of the space, property or residence listed, or for the services or safety of any space, property or residence listed on the website.
The Office of Student Support Services strives to give students the information necessary to make an informed decision when considering off-campus properties for their housing options. It is important to understand the issues involved and recognize their rights and responsibilities as tenants as well as the rights and responsibilities of off-campus property managers.
The Office of Student Support Services works closely with the Fairborn Fair Housing Office to ensure that staff and students are aware of changes in local housing codes as well as state and federal regulations. The Off-Campus and Commuter Student Handbook is available to students to guide them through the process of transitioning to off-campus managed properties. The Office offers:
- Roommate Listings (roommate needed and roommate available) for WSU students
- Off-Campus Property Postings for use by WSU students
If you are a WSU student and are seeking a roommate or are available as a roommate, log in to complete and submit the form. Your information will be posted on the Roommate Listings database and the Off-Campus Housing bulletin board in the Student Union.
Wright State University maintains Roommate Listings, which include postings for persons who are available as a roommate and persons who are looking for a roommate. These postings are maintained by the Office of Student Support Services for the convenience of Wright State students and the University has not screened listings for roommate suitability.
The listing is only a record of possible roommates and is being provided solely for student convenience. This list does not reflect which roommates are currently available, any future availability or suitability.
