Mission

The Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct supports the overall mission of Wright State University by educating students regarding their civic and social responsibilities as members of a global society.

Vision

The Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct strives to motivate all students to make ethically sound decisions and have a positive impact on the Wright State community and beyond.

Purpose

As part of its educational mission, Wright State University establishes the Code of Student Conduct and student conduct system.

The Code and related system are designed to:

  • Resolve disputes in a cooperative, educational, and non-adversarial manner
  • Provide students with the opportunities for service and leadership
  • Increase awareness of and respect for differences of culture, gender, religion, race, sexual orientation, and ability
