Staff Development Committee


The Staff Development Committee is charged by the Vice President for Student Affairs to create development opportunities and programs for the staff within the division.

Committee Membership

The committee consists of one representative from each unit within the division. Representatives are appointed by each department Director. Representatives serve two year terms with half of the committee rotating off each year.


Upcoming Events
  • Headshots for SAHE Students: Wednesday, October 21, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in 206 Med Sci (take stairs or elevator on the Human Resources side of the building to get to the room). In honor of Student Affairs in Higher Education Month this October, graduate students in the Student Affairs in Higher Education program, staff, and graduate students within the Division of Student Affairs are invited to have their head shots taken for future professional use.  Individuals are responsible for purchasing their own digital downloads of the images from the Office of Marketing for $5.00 each.  Appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling ext. 2808.  Priority will be given to eligible graduate students.
  • Halloween Celebration: Thursday, October 29, 2015.  Put on your costumes, decorate the office, and participate in Trick-or-Treat for the students.
  • Sex and Disability Conference - Breaking Silences, Demanding Crip Justice: Sex, Sexuality, and Disability: November 4-6 at Wright State University.  Visit the conference website for more information.
