Staff Development Committee

Purpose

The Staff Development Committee is charged by the Vice President for Student Affairs to create development opportunities and programs for the staff within the division.

Committee Membership

The committee consists of one representative from each unit within the division. Representatives are appointed by each department Director. Representatives serve two year terms with half of the committee rotating off each year.

  • Brown Bag Lunch: An LGBTQA Affairs Spectrum Session - Supporting Transgender Students with Petey Peterson, Director of LGBTQA Affairs - Thursday, January 28, 2016
    Spectrum Sessions are presentations designed to be customizable for a range of audiences and topics. Spectrum Sessions are developed to give different audiences a brevity of skills and knowledge within a short amount of time.  Petey Peterson will be our guest speaker and will share ideas and information about how we can support Transgender Students & develop additional skills necessary to support LGBTQA+ students, faculty & staff at Wright State University.

The Staff Development Committee periodically publishes a newsletter to provide updates on what is happening within the Division of Student Affairs.
