Welcome to the departments, services, programs and facilities of the Wright State University Division of Student Affairs. We provide important services and educational programs that are vital to students' achievement of their academic goals.

Each department in our division puts students first. We believe that working with students is the most important aspect of our jobs and we promise concerned staff that listen to students and advocate on their behalf.

Mission

The Division of Student Affairs advances the mission of Wright State University by providing essential services and educational programs to help students achieve their academic and personal goals. We advocate for students’ needs, facilitate student involvement, and encourage students to accept the responsibilities of membership in a broader community.

Operating within the framework of student development, we are committed to promoting a welcoming and inclusive campus environment that values diversity, prepares students for meaningful engagement in the world community, and reflects an appreciation for the dignity of all people.

Vision

Students...

are the reason we are here.

Students...

are the most important individuals we deal with.

Students...

are not an interruption of our work--they are the purpose of it.

Students...

compliment us when they ask for help--we are not doing them a favor by serving them.

Students...

are not cold statistics--they are flesh and blood human beings with feelings and emotions like our own.

Students...

are not individuals to argue or match wits with.

Students...

are deserving of the most courteous and attentive treatment we can give them.

Students...
Are the life-blood of this university
