Markayla Clayton

Markayla is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology with plans of attending graduate school to attain a master’s degree in student affairs in higher education. Markayla is involved in student organizations which include the National Residence Hall Honorary, Omicron Delta Kappa Honors Society, Kappa Delta Sorority, and Cru. In the past, she has been involved in Miracle Makers, Honors Community Council, Residential Community Association, Intramural Sports, and the ’67 Society. In the fall of 2018, Markayla co-chaired a leadership conference that was hosted at Wright State University for residential student leaders from all over the Midwest region. Markayla has worked on campus as a Resident Assistant, Career Center Student Assistant, Peer Mentor, Orientation Mentor, and Housing Tour Guide. Markayla was the recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Sustainability Leadership Award.
