Crystal Burns

Crystal is a second-year graduate student in the International and Comparative Politics program. She received her dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies at Wright State University (WSU), Magna Cum Laude, in 2017. Her passion has always been in Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs as well as Climate Change and Sustainability. Crystal is currently finishing her thesis on the effects climate change has on Indigenous People’s Human Rights by examining and comparing State policies. Besides serving as a President’s Ambassador, Crystal is a member of WSU’s 67’ Society, a member of Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society, member of Golden Key National Honor Society, former Head Delegate of WSU’s award-winning Model United Nations team and former President (and current member) of Pi Sigma Alpha National Honor Society. Upon completion of her degree Crystal hopes to continue her education by studying International Law.
