Raider Cares is Counseling and Wellness Services’ 24-hour crisis phone service. You can reach the Raider Cares Line by calling 833-848-1765 [TTY: 314-485-4345]
The Crisis Text Line offers 24 hour, 7 day per week text contact with trained crisis counselors - reach them by texting "LISTEN" to 741-741 The Crisis Text Line is NOT affiliated with Counseling and Wellness Services or WSU.

Initial appointment walk-in hours: Initial appointments are offered daily on a walk-in basis. Typically, our Initial Appointment Walk-In hours are from 11 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday. These hours may vary from semester to semester. Please call the counseling center to verify our walk-in hours (937-775-3407).
If you have an urgent need to speak with someone, please feel free to walk-in to the office between 8:30 and 5:00. You may also call the Raider Cares at 833-848-1765 (TTY: 314-485-4345)
An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is a pet that has been prescribed by a licensed mental health or medical professional as part of a treatment program. Counseling and Wellness Services does not integrate ESA's as part of our service programs. Therefore, Counseling and Wellness Services staff are unable provide letters prescribing or recommending emotional support animals.
