NETA Group Exercise Certification

Created for those interested in leading exercise in a group setting, NETA’s Group Exercise Instructor Certification is one of only two in America that have earned NCCA accreditation. Topics include Anatomy, Kinesiology, Physiology, Components of Fitness, Exercise Class Design, and Nutrition. Live workshop includes a full day review. No prior experience required.

NETA Barre Connect Specialty Certification
Sunday, January 28, 2018, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Learn the fundamentals necessary to design safe and effective multi-level Barre Connect classes. Leave with a deep understanding of the science, technique, and 4 main components behind Barre Connect. Discover how to connect the components of Ballet & Dance Technique, Yoga Postures, Functional Strength Exercises, and Cardiovascular Training to create a FUN, total body workout.
NETA Personal Trainer Certification (2-day workshop)
Saturday/Sunday February 24-25, 8 a.m.–5 pm
Developed for current and aspiring fitness professionals who plan to work in one-on-one and small group settings. Topics include Biomechanics, Anatomy & Physiology, Pre-Health Screening & Fitness Assessment, Nutrition & Weight Management, and Exercise Program Design. Live workshop includes a two-day review. NCCA Accredited. No prior experience required.

NETA Fitness Yoga Specialty Certification (2-day workshop)
Saturday/Sunday, March 17-18, 2018, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
Gain hands-on experience in teaching multi-level flow based (vinyasa) yoga classes. Key topics include:
- In-depth breakdown of 15 yoga poses (with multiple adaptations)
- Basic anatomy & physiology of the skeletal and muscular systems
- Sequencing and transitions
- Cuing and transformational language
- Learning styles
- Vinyasa yoga history and influence
- Practice teaching
