Welcome to the Wright State University Sport Club program. It is our pleasure to provide you with competitive and recreational opportunities to meet your every need. Whether you are interested in an existing club or would like to form a new club, there is something available for everyone. Don't hesitate—get involved.
Sport Club Mission
The Sport Club program provides the opportunity to university students for recreation, competition, and instruction in a variety of active pursuits. Each club is responsible for its own governing and organization, allowing for student leadership development and growth.
The list of sport clubs evolves each year. If there is a sport you we don't have, please contact us so we can try and get it started! Here is a list as of June 2019 (PDF).
Please note that only clubs with dedicated web or public facebook pages are linked here.
All sport clubs are governed by the Sport Club Council (SCC) which meets once a month to aid established and forming clubs. Sport Club Council acts as a training ground for its officers as they are required to accept the responsibilities involved in administering sport clubs in the University and the community.
Sports Club Council Meetings
The Sport Club Council meets monthly during the academic year. A representative of each club must attend each meeting. Times are subject to change; please see the schedule on the Sport Club Council OrgSync.com page

Sports Club Council Fundraising
Please register your Kroger Rewards card to help earn cash for SCC through Kroger Community Rewards. This will not change your rewards you earn and will help earn cash for the SCC. The money will be distributed to the Sport Club Council Excellence Fund. This fund will be used to reward clubs financially that do excellent things such as Community Service, Campus Service, Fundraising, Qualify for Regional or National Championships.
Each participant must complete the forms located on the Sport Club Council Engage page. High-Risk Clubs must also have a physical examination and medical history form completed by a doctor. High-risk clubs are competitive cheer, competitive dance, football, gymnastics, ice hockey, kick boxing, lacrosse, and soccer (men and women).
Each participant must complete the payment process for each club. Please select the club you have joined and begin the payment process.
