Looking for new ways to continue your journey as a leader?

The 2017 Omicron Delta Kappa Leader to Leader Conference will help students take their leadership abilities "to infinity and beyond!" This is the thirteenth annual conference, planned by members of WSU's circle of ODK. The conference is redesigned each year around a new theme that ODK believes resonates with each generation of students. Based on the theme, various speakers are selected from notable Wright State alumni, Wright State faculty, or prominent leaders in the Dayton area. This year's theme is World Leadership. The conference sessions are designed to help student attendees enhance their leadership skills and maximize their success as students and student leaders within this rapidly evolving new world.

Breakout sessions throughout the day will be focused on building a strong foundation of new leadership, emerging leadership, and advanced leadership potential. Sessions will be interactive at times and offer an opportunity to network and meet other conference attendees. The one-day conference is free-of-charge to all Wright State students, faculty, and staff and includes a free breakfast and lunch. Pre-registration is required to attend.

Elect Her: Wright State Women Win: Are you interested in learning the nuts and bolts of running a student government or other leadership campaign? This special workshop will demystify the campaign process and teach you how to develop and communicate an effective message, how to reach your constituency, and how to win a campaign. Clare Bresnahan is the Program Director for Women's Campaign Fund and She Should Run, a Washington, DC company dedicated to increasing the number of women in all levels of public office. Clare is an energetic and progressive young leader with a passion for promoting leadership and women in politics. Let Clare empower the leader in you. Elect Her is offered in place of Sessions 1, 2 and 3; and while geared to women, is open to everyone.
