The most important measures of excellence at the university are those that demonstrate the university's ability to transform lives. In many cases, private support from friends and alumni of Wright State University is often the catalyst that enables the university—and the Women's Center—to transform the lives of its students through teaching, research, scholarship, and community outreach.
These funds are made possible by generous donors who believe in the abilities and talents of women students and want to encourage their success at Wright State. Information about the history and purpose of each fund is listed below. Please select a fund that interests you, and you will be directed to the online giving page to make your secure credit card gift to Wright State University.

Since 1993, the Women's Center has lived its mission to facilitate connections, provide resources, and advocate for equitable experiences and opportunities for all people. As the Center celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2008, it sought one-time donations of $15 in honor of its 15 years of service from 1,000 people in order to establish the Women's Opportunity Fund. This endowed account will support special initiatives that advance the mission of the Women's Center.
In 2010, the fund drive continues as we seek $17 in honor of our 17 years of serving Wright State. Give to the Women's Center Opportunity Fund
In the early 1980s, Jo Angela Freeman Saxon worked full-time as a kindergarten teacher, attended college full-time to complete her degree, and was the sole provider for three small children. The Angela Saxon Scholarship for Working Mothers was started in 2008 by Mrs. Saxon's friends and family to ease the financial stress faced by working mothers as they seek to better the lives of their families. The first award was made for the 2011-2012 academic year. Give to the Jo Angela Freeman Saxon Scholarship for Working Mothers
The Kim & Shelley Goldenberg Scholarship for the Women's Center was endowed by former Wright State president Dr. Kim Goldenberg and his wife Shelley in 2006.
