Estrella Alvarez, Sophomore Organizational Leadership Major

Estrella, the president of the Amigos Latinos Student Association, brings life to the office and to the students, which she serves wholeheartedly. She has proven time after time that she can overcome any boundaries in her way. “The Office of the Latino Affairs has proven to me that the cielo (sky) is not my limit, as I use las estrellitas (stars) as the stepping stones to my future,” said Estrella Alvarez.

Ryan Rushing, Junior Political Science Major

Ryan is a member of the Board of Trustees for Wright State University. He has also served in Student Government as the Senator for University College and the College of Liberal Arts, President of the University College Student Advisory Council, and served on the Dean's Student Advisory Council. Outside of school, Ryan is the Chairman on the City of Beavercreek's Board of Zoning Appeals making him the youngest chair of any board or commission in Beavercreek's history.
