Welcome Week is full of departmental and student organization events and gives opportunities to meet and get to know students, faculty and staff. We will also be providing information booths, tours, and open houses and many other opportunities to learn what Wright State is all about, while celebrating the jump into semesters.

MISSION STATEMENT

Welcome Week assists Orientation in the successful transition of new and current students to the Wright State University through a week of intentional academic, social, and community-building activities, structures, and programs.

OBJECTIVES
 
  1. Provide a welcoming environment to new/transfer/current WSU Students
  2. Provide opportunities for WSU students to create long lasting relationships though intentional programming
  3. Educate New and Transfer students about the WSU campus culture
  4. Assist students in the transition into college life.
  5. Introduce new and current students about the rich history and pride of Wright State University

Get Involved

New Students

All new students are encouraged to participate in Wright State’s Welcome Week. This is the best way to meet people, learn how to navigate your way around campus, and discover campus resources that will help you be successful here at the University. There are a wide variety of events for all different types of students. To get the best start to your semester get the “Jump WRIGHT In” Welcome Week Guide or download the guide to your SmartPhone!

Returning Students

All students are encouraged to participate in the many events during Welcome Week. Help us introduce new members of the Raider Nation Family to Wright State. Get the “Jump WRIGHT In” Welcome Week Guide or download the guide to your SmartPhone!

Wright State’s Welcome Week is a great time for faculty and staff members to go to know and interact with new and returning students outside of the classroom or office. Help us welcome new and returning students to campus.
