Student Government Attendance Policy

Attendance Policy
January 2004

As Student Government members, you are required to attend at least one meeting of your committee per month. You are also required to provide reports for each meeting you attend, in person at the Student Government meetings, through communication with another committee member who then comes to the meeting, or through email to the co-presidents. Remember that even if you do not attend a committee meeting, you must still report! Let us know that you didn't attend. For class representatives, you must always report at each Student Government meeting, in person or through e-mail.

In addition, it is expected that at least one committee member will be in attendance at every committee meeting.

Because committee attendance is critical to our mission as Student Government, if you do not meet your required quota for attendance during the course of a quarter you will be dismissed from Student Government. If you anticipate being unable to meet your obligations for the upcoming quarter due to changes in your schedule, etc., please notify Student Government ASAP, so that we can find someone else to take your place.
