Biographical Information
Dr. Williams, an assistant professor, is a graduate from the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University. Her professional experience includes an internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology/Research and Neuropsychology at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She has also worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, specializing in rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology. Dr. Williams has presented on a variety of disability related topics that has included such topics of suicide, sexuality, diversity and psychosocial aspects of disability.
She initiated and co-facilitates a weekly psychotherapy group for students with disabilities on campus. Additionally, she also supervises students with an interest in Health Psychology who are placed at a local medical center, the Cassano Medical Center.
