Information
Dr. Warfield is the project coordinator for the Center for Child and Adolescent Violence Prevention. Dr. Warfield specializes in developmental assessments and interventions with infants and preschoolers who have developmental disabilities and chronic illnesses. Her practice interests include adolescent violence prevention, multicultural diversity training, play therapy, infant mental health, parent training, and consultations with Head Start, universities, hospitals, and schools. She serves on the State of Ohio Infant Mental Health Task Force, has assisted in curriculum development for a Direct Care Training Initiative of the Administration on Developmental Disabilities for the District of ColumbiaÕs Commission on Mental Health, and is on the State Planning Committee for Health Education in Ohio. Dr. Warfield is a skilled trainer who has presented workshops both at the local and national levels.
