Biographical Information
Dr.
Fraser has served the school in the positions ofDirector
of Internship Training for four years, and asthe
school's Director of Clinical Training for fouryears.
He is currently a full time faculty member at therank
of professor. Dr. Fraser is a nationally recognizedexpert
in the areas of strategic crisis intervention and brieftherapy,
as well as strategic and systemic approaches tomarriage
and family therapy. He is the author of a greatnumber
of articles, chapters, and reviews in the familytherapy
area. He is on the editorial board of a number ofjournals
in professional psychology and family therapy. Prior tojoining
the faculty full time in 1990, Dr. Fraser spent 15 yearsadministering
and supervising in a model training andservice
facility focusing on crisis and brief therapyservice
and training. He specializes in live supervisionteams
and conducts training workshops and consultationsregionally
and nationally on strategic brief therapy andsystem
interventions. Dr. Fraser currently directs the BriefTherapy
Center, housed at the South Community Mental HealthCenter.
He also supervises trainees in primary care psychologyat
the East Dayton Health Center and the Good SamaritanHospital's
Internal Medicine Center and Residency Program.
