Biographical Information

Dr. Allen, a professor, has professional experience which includes an internship at Brown University, a postdoctoral fellowship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in Detroit, and employment as a clinical neuropsychologist by Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital in Lexington , Kentucky. He is widely published in neuropsychology, head injuries, and memory in sources such as Neuropsychologia, Brain Injuries, and Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology and Assessment. His areas of teaching include physiological psychology and clinical neuropsychology. His interests include neurobehavioral disorders, quality of life in medical populations, cognitive and neuropsychological assessment, and outcome measurement in rehabilitation. He is a diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology. Recently, he published the text, Treating Patients with Neuropsychological Disorders: A Clinician's Guide to Assessment and Referral, through APA books.
