Information
Victor McCarley, Psy.D. is an associate professor and Director of the Predoctoral Internship Program. Dr. McCarley also is a clinical educator and supervisor for students at the School of Professional Psychology . He maintains a clinical, forensic and consulting private practice and is the Director/Clini-cal Director of McCarley & Associates, Inc. He has worked with diverse clinical populations, with a special interest relative to minority issues. He has engaged in clinical research , currently being the co-investigator of a 5-year federal SAMHSA grant from the Center for Substance Abuse relative to chemical dependancy and HIV intervention. He is an HIV trainer with the APA HOPE Program and has served as an ABPsi HIV trainer/consultant. Additionally, he has provided extensive clinical and programmatic consultation to area chemical dependency programs. He has been credentialed with the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. He has held memberships in the American Psychological Association, Ohio Psychological Association, and The Association of Black Psychologists, of which he is a life member and President of the greater Dayton chapter. He is active and has held positions in several professional and civic organizations.
