The Match Program
The Matching Program is supervised by APPIC and administered by National Matching Services. Consult the APPIC website (www.appic.org/match/index.html) and the National Matching Service Website (www.natmatch.com/psychint) for detailed information on match policies, the match process, and registration. There is also a Match News e-mail list to which you can subscribe from the APPIC website.

You should register for the match by December 1, 2008 (www.natmatch.com/psychint/reglink.htm). Earlier is better as you will want to have your match ID in time to list on your applications. We suggest registering right after the faculty approve your readiness to apply for internship. The application fee for WSU SOPP students is $110. Our subscriber number is s178.
Look for a confirmation letter from the internship program to which you matched within 72 hours of Match Day. If you do not receive one, request it. Send a copy of your confirmation letter to the OCT if we are not copied on the original letter. Remember that the results of the APPIC Match constitute a binding agreement between applicants and internship programs.
