focus, 1 - 2 positions) Supervisors Sarah A. Fillingame, Psy.D ., Director of Behavioral Sciences, received her Psy.D. degree in 1983 at Wright State University. Her responsibilities are primarily administrative in nature, but she does have a small case load made up primarily of children who have been sexually abused. Michele Crist, Ph.D. , received her degree in 1983 from the University of Cincinnati. Her primary clinical interests include eating disorders, adoption issues, attachment disorders, and emotional adjustment to Cochlear Implants. Mary Beth Dewitt, Ph.D. , received her degree in 1995 from The Ohio State University and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at The Ohio State University and Columbus Children's Hospital. Her clinical interests include adjustment to chronic illness, developmental disabilities, autism, disruptive behavior disorders in young children and parent training in behavior management. Julie Stucke, Ph.D. , received her degree in 1998 from The Ohio State University after completing an internship at Michigan State University. Her clinical interests include adjustment to chronic illness, pediatric psychology and general child clinical issues. Miami Valley Hospital Psychology Department (Rehabilitiation/neurology
focus, 1 position) Many opportunities are offered for psychologists in the areas of rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychological assessment. Training is offered within the context of multidisciplinary teams in the areas of rehabilitation and neuropsychology, to a diverse population. Psychological services are provided on an inpatient and outpatient basis. This is an excellent opportunity to learn neuropsychological assessment and clinical/rehab psychology consultation and liaison in a large metropolitan medical center. Supervisor Bruce Ladle, Ph.D. , received his degree in clinical psychology from Brigham Young University in 1988 with an emphasis in rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology. His primary clinical patient populations include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebrovascular accidents and other neurological disorders. Clinical areas of interest include neuropsychological evaluations, individual and family adjustment to trauma, and sexuality and disability.

Interests; systemic brief therapy, martial and family therapy, crisis intervention and time effective interventions, integrative approaches to psycho-therapy and delivery of services, primary care pyschology. Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare-Dayton Campus (Inpatient clinic psychiatric focus - 1 position) Twin Valley Psychiatric System is a regional state psychiatric hospital. Diagnostic and forensic assessment, as well as individual, group, and family therapy, is provided to adults who primarily have a severe mental illness. Individuals with chemical dependency/substance abuse problems, mild mental retardation, and personality disorders are also treated on the admission, extended, and forensic treatment wards. This is an exciting learning opportunity for interns interested in assessment and treatment of severe psychopathogy, forensic issues, multidisciplinary consultation, and clinical psychology in a long-term psychiatric facility. The Psychological Service Centers at SOPP Counseling and Wellness Services (CWS) The Counseling and Wellness Center is located in the Fredrick A. White Health Center on the Wright State University main campus. The CWS serves as the student counseling center for Wright State University and provides a wide range of services including: outreach programming, consultation, therapy, assessment, and training. CWS is a unit of the School of Professional Psychology and functions in cooperation with the division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services. The CWS mission is to promote, facilitate, and provide high quality psychotherapy, assessment, performance enhancement, consultation, and psychoeducational programming for WSU students. We also seek to promote the acquisition, analysis, and sound application of knowledge through high quality graduate training, supervision, research, and service provision.
