Semester Transition Advising
Message to undergraduate students who have earned at least 74 quarter hours
Semesters Advising Semesters Portal Page Banner
Greetings from the Office of the Provost.
Once again, I am sending this email to keep everyone informed regarding our progress toward semesters in fall 2012.
As I mentioned in my first email if you have not already done so, I encourage everyone to visit the WSU Semesters website:
There is a lot of information on this website describing what is happening and what students can do to ensure the successful completion of their degrees.
If you are working toward a Bachelors Degree you are receiving this specific email because at the end of fall 2010 you had earned at least 74 quarter hours. Because you earned this many hours it may be possible for you to complete your entire degree prior to the start of fall 2012.
If you are working toward an Associates Degree and you started in or before fall 2010 there is an extremely high possibility that you could complete your degree by fall 2012.
In both cases a review of your transcript and the requirements of your degree is important.
We recommend that you make an appointment now to consult with your advisor to determine whether you can complete your degree requirements and graduate prior to the conversion to semesters.
If you have any questions, please submit them on the semesters transition web page.
