Semester Transition Advising
May Progress Update
Semesters Advising Semesters Portal Page Banner
While this email is somewhat longer, there is important information for everyone. Thanks for taking time to read it.
- Early Registration for Fall 2012 starts May 7. As you register for classes, remember to take 5 classes (15 semester hours) to stay on track for graduation.
- If you would like to complete a MAP, remember that there are now 2 formats. The electronic MAP, and an alternate paper version called an A-MAP. An approved MAP in either format will ensure that you are covered by the WSU Pledge to Students. The deadline for submitting your MAP is June 2, 2012.
- As we move into the last few weeks of academic year 2011-12 and also the last few months before our change to semesters, please know that Wright State University is in very good position to make this change smooth and seamless. All campus offices, departments, and colleges are on top of the conversion process. Most importantly, all academic advisors are ready to help ALL students negotiate the semester conversion with as little impact as possible. In short, I personally feel very confident about the conversion as we move quickly toward fall.
As always, if you have any questions at all, please make an appointment with your academic advisor (undergraduate students) or program director (graduate students).
Also, if you have not yet done so, please look at the Semester Transition Advising website.
I hope the rest of this academic year is successful for you and I look forward to working with everyone when we come back in Fall 2012 for our first term in semesters.
