Soin Trading Center Public Use Policy

 

In accordance with our mission of transforming the lives of our students and the communities we serve, Wright State University and the Raj Soin College of Business (RSCOB) are proud to be able to offer the Soin Trading Center for use by local businesses, social groups and the community at large.

Due to the increasing level of public interest in utilizing the Soin Trading Center, it has become necessary for the RSCOB to establish the following usage policy for the facility to ensure equitable public access and treatment for all interested parties:

 

• Any individual, group or entity that wishes to use the Soin Trading Center, must be in full compliance with all Wright Way Policies. A copy of the Wright Way Policies are available at www.wright.edu.
  
  
• The Soin Trading Center can be reserved on a first come first serve basis by contacting the RSCOB Department of Finance at 775-3175. Because the Center is a classroom for WSU students, reservations for weekday and evening times are taken in accordance with the academic calendar and may be made on the first day of each academic quarter. Reservations for Friday, Saturday and Sunday daytime and evening times can be made no more than 60 days in advance. For those groups making reservations during evening and weekend hours, please know that there may not be an RSCOB faculty or staff person available to assist you with the equipment in the room. For a suggested donation of $100.00, students in the RSCOB Finance Club will make themselves available to assist you – arrangements can be made through the Department of Finance.

• The use of the RSCOB name and logo for promotional purposes is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of any WSU copyrighted logo and/or name may be cause for cancellation of current and future use of WSU facilities.

• RSCOB will not provide any assistance with printing services, promotions, registrations, fee processing, parking or other issues related to programs being conducted in the Soin Trading Center. WSU Conference and Event Services is available to assist you with these issues for a nominal fee.

• RSCOB is not authorized to provide any entity with access to faculty, staff, students or alumni for promotional purposes without university approval.

• Food and beverages are not allowed in the Soin Trading Center at any time.

• The RSCOB and WSU reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any event taking place in the Soin Trading Center at any time.
