WSU selected for student ambassador program
to promote accounting profession 3-000
The Ohio Society of CPAs Educational Foundation has awarded Wright State University’s Raj Soin College of Business a student ambassador designation.
The selection involves $5,000 for a Wright State student in the business school to promote the accounting profession, specifically as Certified Public Accountants, through interaction with fellow students.
James Greenspan, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Accountancy at Wright State, said students to be interviewed for the ambassador position will be selected early next year by department faculty. Final selection by the society’s foundation will follow.
Wright State is one of six universities in Ohio selected for the year-long ambassador program. The other institutions are Case Western Reserve University, Miami University, Ohio University, University of Toledo and Youngstown State University.
