Career Services For the Alumni Who is an Employer

Expanding your staff? Looking for optimal talent for your long term staffing needs? Wright State’s Office of Career Services can help your search for new employees. http://career.wright.edu/employer/.  Over fifty per cent of Raj Soin College of Business Alumni stay in the region - providing your company with experienced professionals in a full-range of business disciplines from accounting, finance, MIS, supply chain management, marketing, project management, international business, applied and social economics, human resources and general management.

The Wright Search

  • Review student résumés and contact students directly
  • Post job openings for co-op, internship, permanent positions
  • Initiate and manage on-campus interviewing schedules


On-Campus Recruiting Events and Facilities
Simply register on the Wright Search database to monitor interview schedules as well as post jobs and review résumés. By registering you can:

  • Attend special recruiting events for particular professions and education levels throughout the year.
  • Interview on-campus in a private wing of Career Services’ Student Union suite.
  • Attend cross-disciplinary career fairs and set up information sessions and table for your company
  • Dine In Reach Out luncheons with faculty and administrators of programs that serve your staffing needs


Student Employment Programs

  • The Raj Soin College of Business offers student interns and faculty-guided student projects in every discipline of business ranging from marketing, supply chain management, human resource planning and compliance, management of information technology, strategic and tactical marketing, international business and trade management, accounting and finance.


Additional student employment programs include:

  • The Job Location and Development (JLD) Program which provides off-campus job services for current students in every discipline at the University.
  • The Contract Program which allows companies and organizations to hire students while Wright State University maintains personnel and payroll responsibilities
  • The Community Service Program for qualifying non-profit agencies that have entered into a contractual relationship with Wright State University for hiring students who have Federal Work Study.


Student Mentoring
Alumni can also assist Wright State students or recent graduates with their job search. As a mentor, you are encouraged to provide information related to your career and education. Many career mentors have served as a telephone/e-mail resource while others have encouraged students to visit their workplace and shadow them for a day.
