Two Major Career Events Bring Students and Employers Together – Watch for Upcoming Events
"Promoting excellent capabilities of Raj Soin
College of Business students and alumni to employers is one of the
most valuable services the college offers to the business
community," according to Berkwood Farmer, Dean. "Through our
partnership with Career Services, the college brings together
students and alumni in the most efficient and enjoyable settings
for employers who are in a current hiring mode as well as those
who are looking for top-notch talent."
The college and Career Services offered two successful events
this fall and have several more planned for the rest of the

Accounting, Finance, and Economics Recruiting
Fair Attracts Over 130 Students
Over 130 students and alumni interviewed with 22 area
employers during a productive recruiting day for accounting,
finance, and economics students. Employers who attended the
September 28 event, ranged from accounting firms, Fortune 500
global companies, mergers and acquisition firms, banks, retail
chains, and high-tech companies.

Over 20 Employers Enjoyed Networking with
Graduate Students and Alumni from MBA, Accountancy and Applied
Economics Programs
In today’s competitive market, a broad and reliable network
is essential for advancing one’s career opportunities and
professional growth. The college continued its second annual
networking event exclusively for graduate students and alumni
from the MBA, Accountancy, and Applied Economics Programs.
The September 28 event connected experienced alumni and graduate
students with businesses who need professionals with a broad
