Baker has been selected as associate dean for Graduate Programs,
International and Community Relations. In his new role, Dr.
Baker will be responsible for enhancing the college’s graduate
programs and extending the college’s collaboration with the
global business community.
Since his arrival at Wright State in 1991, Dr. Baker has
developed and taught courses in project management, leadership,
organizational change, and business strategy. He has also
received numerous awards for teaching excellence, including the
Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Baker holds a
Ph.D. in management and a MA in management from Claremont
Graduate School in Claremont, California, and an MBA from the
University of North Dakota. Prior to joining the Raj Soin
College of Business, Dr. Baker served over 20 years in the
United States Air Force in various positions. He is a member of
the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a contributing editor
to PMI’s magazine, PMNetwork.
