Harold G. Dusko, November 20, 2016, Department of Geology and Geography

Harold G. Dusko 74, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, November 20, 2016 surrounded by family.

Born July 1, 1942 in Tarentum, PA. He was the son of Harold and Josephine (Goralka) Dusko. He graduated from Slippery Rock College and the University of Dayton (MBA).

Married 53 years to his loving wife Janet (Craig), he was the proud father of 3 sons, Steven (Cindy), Christopher and Jeffrey as well as 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.             

Harold worked for over 30 years at WPAFB in the Foreign Technology Division in various positions including research analyst and comptroller. His knowledge and forward thinking were the key factors ushering the imagery organization into the digital era.

He was also an adjunct professor at Wright State University for 20 years teaching in the Department of Geology and Geography. He taught Cartography, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.

Harold enjoyed volunteering at the VA with Healing Waters and the Miami Valley Fly Fishers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed blacksmithing, flying model airplanes, working on his pickup truck, playing harmonica and spending time with his grand kids.
