WSU students make a hit at a Dayton Dragon's game

A vocal trio--"Soul'd Out"--perform before sold out crowd

Three WSU students who like to sing got an opportunity to show their talents at a recent Dayton Dragons baseball game.

They were discovered in a Creative Arts Center stairwell by Theatre chair Stuard McDowell who encouraged them to try out. An audition led to their signing during a seventh inning stretch on June 24.

One of the singers admitted this was their first performance before a crowd. The trio named themselves “Soul’d Out.”
