2017 Big Lens Film Festival features WSU students’ work

The annual Big Lens Film Festival features the premiere of new films directed by students of Wright State's award-winning Motion Pictures program. Past Big Lens films have been screened and received awards at the most important film festivals in the country, including the Sundance Film Festival. Big Lens films have also been nominated for Student Academy Awards.

This year's Big Lens Film Festival will take place at the Rave Theatre at the Greene in Beavercreek, Ohio. A reception will follow.

Writer/director Christopher Blazavich and producer Kara Lynch are seniors preparing to graduate from Wright State University's film program.  Their work will be among seven films screen at the Big Lens Film Festival, a yearly event that showcases the work of Wright State students.  Blazavich and Lynch joined Niki Dakota live in the studio to talk their film careers so far, future plans and more.
