The Regional Summit began in 2007 as a way to engage thought leaders from across the Dayton, West Central Regions to help us understand how Wright State University could better serve our communities.

The 2008 Regional Summit provided an opportunity for our community partners to present demonstration projects that captured how we responded to what we learned in 2007.

In 2009 we conducted our first virtual summit. The purpose of the virtual summit was to allow more of our Wright State family to participate at any time and from any location.

The 2010 Regional Summit-A Region on the Rise-provided an opportunity for us to highlight our six Ohio Centers of Excellence.

The 2011 Regional Summit-Wright State Means Jobs- will again be a virtual event. This year’s focus shifts to excellence in programs that may not be housed in Ohio Centers, but are still transforming the communities we serve.
